The AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) Program teaches climbing instructors to proficiently facilitate and instruct the sport of rock climbing in a single pitch setting. The SPI is the only internationally recognized single pitch climbing instructor certification program in the United States. This 3 day (27 hours) course is the prerequisite for preparing for the separate 2 day SPI Exam to gain certification. Course Dates: Monday, April 20th - Wednesday, April 22nd, 8am - 5pm each day (27 hours) Course Location: South Central-Eastern Pennsylvania crags. Locations could be at sites within 1 hour in any direction from West Chester and will be determined based on weather as well as participant's locations.
