Course Location: University of Central Florida’s Climbing Facility in Orlando, FL
This clinic is designed to meet the needs of anyone that is a current routesetter, an aspiring routesetter, a wall staff, a manager, and/or a climbing facility director. This clinic will shed light on the evolving industry standards for best practices and risk management as well as practical applications with the equipment that each facility may have.
Prior experience with climbing, belaying, and routesetting is recommended, but not required. All are welcome to come and advance your skills and practice the craft.
Course Instructor: This course will be taught by Ryan Shipp (AMGA CWI Provider, SPI Provider, MPI, Assistant Rock Guide, CWA CWI Provider, CWA Work-At-Height Provider, a professional rope access tech, USAC L1 Setter, and a setter with 26 years of experience.)
